Independent Ghana Tour Review

“I had such a good time! And I have been having a good time telling everyone what a wonderful job you did organizing the trip, and keeping us all happy. The memories of this trip will be cherished for the rest of my life”
Barbara

“Just to let you know that we have just returned from an amazing holiday in Ghana which we shall remember for a long time organised by John Haigh of the operator. A group of nine family members spent ten days in three locations of Ghana and had a very well organised and memorable holiday”
Sally

“So many thanks John for a most memorable trip, I can’t think what took me so long to return, and I am going to have to return pretty soon! I loved every minute of it and I know Carole did too.”
Diana

“There were so many memorable and exciting parts – I loved it all. Everywhere we went the locals were so hospitable and amazingly resourceful. I felt that our presence benefited the local people, and I felt privileged to be part of that.”
Lesley

See what Lesley had to say about her 2008 Ghana crafts tour in this four page article for Bead magazine with fantastic photos! Bead magazine article

“What I liked most was the mixture of what we did and what we saw – people, culture, crafts and history. I love to remember our trip through the rain forest: where I failed to climb a rock using a liana, where we tried the fresh flesh of coffee bean and finally enjoyed a trip in a dugout canoe. Also I remember our drumming lesson at Lake Bosomtwe, where the whole village was trying to teach us drumming. We visited locals and especially craftsmen directly at the places they live and work. Simply book today and go on a tour with John. You will not regret this holiday at all. “
Anja

“I have found it difficult to narrow the most memorable moment – All of this holiday was memorable for me from the most emotional visit to slave castle to completing the canopy walk (BEING AFRAID OF HEIGHTS). Accommodations, tours etc were all with local people, I spent my pounds with local vendors. The holiday was organised to incorporate this, which I was looking for and approved of.”
Petoria

“The relaxed pace of the trip offered a fascinating introduction to aspects of Ghanaian craftwork, culture and village life”
Christine
